American Embassy Rally
I wonder if anyone out there went to last nights Rally at the American Embassy! I received an SMS MSG from Kuwaitna stating that there will be a rally at the American Embassy that was organized by students and that they were going to burn the American and Israeli flags! Did any of that happen?

If so then shino hal ta5alof? What's all this craziness! I think these "students" are actually illiterate and uneducated! Why? Well the reason for my theory is that their actions are unnecessary. What happened to peaceful rallies, what happened to petitions, what happened to those who cared soo much who would go and fight! I think those "students" are too scared to go and they just want to show off what little patriotism they have by doing such a deed! "Student" like them who make the efforts of others, who try so hard to develop a nation to become one that is educated and strong, seem meaningless and the actions of those "students" tend to erase all the hard work other people have put in!

My questions still are, what happened last night and why did they take that route and become ignorant to the proper means of dealing with such situations!

Fadibou: LOL! It's not the flags that need to be put on ice it's those "students"!

Extinct-dodo: I was reading the Al-Qabas paper and it mentioned how one of the people said that the rally was a peacful one yet they still burnt flags? How does burning a flag show peacfeulness?

Frankom: And I stick to what I said!

Bo Jaij: Welcome to my blog and what you said is true! Even if the people did anything in Kuwait do you think our Government will intervene? I don't think so! The Government would be too selfish in filling it's own pockets and getting their agenda fulfilled for their personal well being!

Skunk: I don't think anyone sells it here since they had to draw the flag from what it looks like in the picture! as for your business oppertunity, I think it might make you alot of money! :oP

mosan mosan: I understand what you mean! I wouldn't mind if they had a peacful rally at the embassy if they were going to support the Lebanese and not the 7isb and if they did it in a quiet, nderstanding, intellectual, and curteous manner!

What patriotism are you talking about? Well, its definitely NOT Kuwaiti patriotism. Kuwaitis will always be indebted to the US and the other countries which liberated our beloved Kuwait.
hmmmm....were you talking about Iranian patriotism maybe? That is more appropriate to describe the actions of these immature hooligans.

Anonymous: Welcome to my blog! Regarding the patriotism I was talking about, well I was reffering to patriotism for the Arab Nations and the Arab Community! I am with you when it comes to Kuwait being indebted to all the countries that liberated it!

I wouldn't call therir patriotism Iranian Patriotism, I would call it Islamic Brainwashing by all those who think they know about religion when in actuality they don't know squat!

The US of A did NOT help Kuwait because of their great overwhelming love to Kuwait. They did it because Kuwait gave lots and lots of oil. Try to get real and stop fooling yourself and rooting for the U.S. just because they're the U.S.

You should know very well that the U.S. and sadly the U.N. as well don't give a flying fuck about what's happening in Lebanon and Palestine. Want a proof? Miser George Walker Bush's speech yesterday.

ba3dain ta3al, what have the arabs EVER done to Palestine, Lebanon or Syria, or even Iraq? Not a single fucking thing. Except for a few TV programs, a couple of songs and a few TV hosts with emotional problems who'd burts into tears as they mention what "them filthy jews are doing in our holy land".
Hizbollah is merely doing what Arabs can't do. Years ago a lot of people said that they're crazy hooligans, out of their minds, blah blah blah, but at the end they succeeded in kicking out Israel's ass out of Lebanon. Now who did a better job? Them "hooligans", or you and I who only collected unneeded coins and sent them to Palestine?

About the rally, I agree, it was pretty fucked up and didn't deliver any good message at all. People, please try to not to argue now about who's fault it is. Using the "whose fault" concepnt, Israel's existence in Palestine is wrong to begin with. So let's try to shut up and spare the headache of trying real hard to be experts in politics while in reality we're just a bunch of idiots sitting in our comfy offices and homes, debating things we don't know shit about.

We're all used to doing things the "civilized" way, collecting coin, coming up with slogans, pathetic fruitless petitions, etc. The "civilized" way, however, is not always the "right" way. Not with all people, not in all cases.

Let's hope that this time, our already shameful nation doesn't get forced to swallow more shame. Pray, I guess, is all we can do for Lebanon right now.

Chai-7aleeb: Welcome to my blog and you are right! What a shame!

busyNOW: Welcome to my blog bro! Akheeran nawart alblog! As for your comments, well there are soo many ignorant people in our community like you saw in the demonstrations the last 2 days as well as crooks! Seemed like the pics were taken elsewhere but there were a few people in traditional attire that makes me think that it did happen here and those are the ignorant ones! As for the crooks they rule the cops here and it's because of them that the cops tend to come to us since they think they can do something! I bet you the Government is not doing anything due to the fact that they are SCARED and too chicken to follow what they know is right! In other words they are a bunch out loud mouthed hypocrites!

بو علي: Welcome to my blog! I agree with the majority of what you said but I have to say that Hizballa is fighting the fight that other nations are affraid of but the messed up thing they did was say that they are doing this for the sake of the Lebanese people! Who are they to do that? If they did have enough guts they wouldn't use civilians as shields and they wouldn't take advantage of young men by brain washing them and making them fight! If they, the hizb, had any guts they would have had an actual camp and HQ and did everything from there!

Wilted_Roze: Welcome to my bog and with regard to your second paragraph, I think that what the Arab nation is doing is the typical Arab thing! Arabs tend to talk too much and not follow through with what they want or need to do! PLUS, Arabs tend to agree on the fact that they should not agree on anything that would be beneficial to them and their community! Walla a7na ri7na feeha!

CyberRowdy(Q8TechDrive): I don't think they will ban protests again! The reason for that is cause Kuwait wants to show the world that it is actually opening up and being more democratic and by banning protests again will only be a step backwards when it comes to democracy! As for the government, they probably enjoy the fact that these ignorant protests are going on cause it will take the public's eyes away from all the thievery that is going on at the Parliment building by the MPs! These protests make the people forget their own good and so the government will not have to make the decisions to make our society better so it will make life easier on them by making easy decisions and getting paid huge checks and stealing money through getting bids and making people favors!

Now I really wonder if their so-called soldiers will be considered martyrs (sp.)! All those innocent people who dies will be but not the troops! Not the so-called mojahideen! They are a bunch of brainwashed fools!

Arabs can be so uncivilized, yet we talk about how great our civilization USED to be!

Why is it ok to fight in the name of Islam? When there is no attack on the religion in the first place. Religion can be a double-edged sword, and its so sad to what extent people go to ruining people's lives, destroying their land in the name of "religion."

People are outraged on Israel's retaliation to "only" 2 soldiers. Well, my fellow Arabs, Israelis cherish their people's lives!! That's the difference between a government reaction to 2 soldiers and a militant/terrorist group acting foolishly and knowingly wasting thousands of innocent people's lives!

Chic Politika: Us Arabs, tend to swim in our histoical achievements but do nothing for our future! If only we had people who would want to act on what our ancestors had in mind instead of ruin things for us for their own selfish well being! I agree with what you said regarding Islam and the love for people! When it comes to a candle light vigil, there might be one here in Kuwait!

Don't forget the rest of the saying, "Malat 3ala ilbamya om isanaseen!" :oP

بو علي: I just saw the movie and it sure was long! I have to admit I enjoyed it! Truthful, compelling, easy to understand and comprehend and what I liked about it was that most of the speakers were of Jewish decent or Jewish background! Thank you very much for the link!
