Softball
2 Friday's ago I started playing softball with a few friends as well as new people that I have met! Going back to the baseball fields brought back so many memories of the times I played little league games here in Kuwait, except the fields now are green and not sandy like the times I remember! You can see the fields in the pictures bellow! (More Pics To Come)

The first game I played, our team lost but last Friday was a different story! Last Friday, our team won and you can check out the score below!

!!! WAY TO GO TEAM !!!

Marzouq: Hahaha! Poor teacher! As for the temperature, we played when the sun was going down and hence it wasn't that bad!

Purg: One guy on our team got injured due to the fact that he went for it and tried to get on base by sliding in! A guy on their team got hit by a ball I hit! It hit his shin and not to forget that I got huirt at the beginning of the game when I tried to throw a ball from the outfield to 3rd base! I was ok by the end of the game!

L's brain: Welcome to my blog! As for softball, it's great fun! I have to admit I watched college softball and the pitcher could throw the ball with such amazing speed! When I saw the players play softball and throw the ball slowly I thought that it was so much easier! Sure is alot of fun!

That field looks amazing. Seems almost unbelievable the amount of greenery that is covering Kuwait now. During the past few years, I have been coming here on annual visits, and everytime I see many improvements, including all the trees and bushes. How can u play in this heat though? Well, best of luck in the games to come.

Aurora: Anyone can play softball but college softball is predominantly a girls sport which is very competitive!

Fonzy: The heat doesn't matter when you are having fun! As for the green fields, they sure were a sight cause when I used to play on the same fields in the 90's they were desert sand fields!

ScarlO: How about rounders? Do they play that? Isn't Gaelic Football also known as Rugby?

    kila ma6goog: No! Zahraa!

different story than my bosses... she plays every week and each time her team loses.
She said that they always call the game because they know the team will never catch up :D

    glad your guys had fun!

***Diamon***: We play for the fun of it! Whether we are having a competitive game, we are being killed, or we are doing the ass kickin' we always finish just so we can laugh and enjoy ourselves!

    ScarlO: Interesting!
