| Long Weekend! |
Ok! I wanted to post the following earlier but I was having issues with getting the pictures off my phone and onto my computer! Now that I'm at work I used the cable here and it worked without any problems so here goes!
Thursday
Left the house and ended up renting a car for a long weekend! Nothing special just a Chevy! Once I got the car, I filled the tank up and drove to Wafra! Why you ask? Well, I met up with a friend at IVH (International Veterinary Hospital), and from there we went to PAWS! I was excited to be around cats and dogs again, but me being soo over excited got me hurt! While taking the dogs out to play I always forgot that the gate to the bigger playground is small and that I have to bend down abit in order to go through it! Clumsy me, I hit my head on the top part of the gate 3 times! The 3rd hit was hard and I actually cut my head right by the hair line!
After that I drove back to civilization to get things taken care or before going to chalet where I was invited by a friend for a dinner! I arrived at the chalet a little after 5 and enjoyed sitting in the sun talking with friends while being bothered by the neighbors trying to tear down the cover of their chalet! Dinner was served, music was playing, and we were talking non stop! We sang a few songs and laughed the night away till I decided to drive back to civilization again and pass out!
Friday
Left the house at 1 to go to the barber shop where I got a shave, then headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for the Bike Show! I met up with The Don, saw his bikes (which BTW are for sale) and talked to him then met up with Miss Cosmo and a friend inside the restaurant! When Miss Cosmo left, Nibaq, Caff, Tooomz, and K showed up and I hung out with them! We saw the winners take their gifts and we saw everyone leave before we headed out! All of us except for K went to grab some food and then went home!

Saturday
I was invited to a friend's house for breakfast. Had an amazing breakfast consisting of pancakes, cheese, eggs, bread, milk, tea, ....... then we sat outside listening to music while talking and drinking tea under the shade of a palm tree! After that, I had to go to my Grand Ma's house for lunch! Once lunch was over, I went home and watched 3 movies in a row before going to dinner at my other Grand Ma's place! I didn't stay there for long cause I went to the airport to greet Jazz Central!
THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS UP MY WEEKEND

Wow, busy weekend! Y'know I thought I had a lazy weekend but now realize I did a lot too! How bizarre.
Hope your head is feeling better. You must suffer for the sake of the animals ;) Hopefully you won't do the same thing a 4th time.
The Bike Show was fun. For some reason I forgot K was there and while reading your post was thinking "wow, really?"
I think today is a morning where I should chuck my aversion to coffee aside and have some otherwise I'll never wake up.

wow, didn't know there were a lotta animal shelters in Kuwait. only one I had dealt with way back was A.R.K, they took in all the dogs I found on the streets, and gave them homes.
stallion, matshoof shar, 3 times huh? you sound clumsy, like me. i got bruises all over that I really can't remember how i got, lol :-)
As for bikes, sht7iboon feehom? :-P

Hazolat: Welcome to my blog! As fot the head injury, thanks for the kind words but I'm not clumsy! Really, I'm not! I was just over excited to be around dogs again! I used to live with 4 dogs in the US then I came to Kuwait and I am not allowed to have pets!
As for the bikes, I like to see them but I don't think I would ride them! Bikes look hot and the can be admired even though they won't be riden!

Stallion I have a solution for you! Wear a motorcycle helmet around the house! Doesnt matter what you bump into! You wont feel a thing! hahaha
But right now my head is pounding too! from lack of sleeeeebbb!
I wanted to go to the motorcycle show, but I knew it was for harleys and stuff, I have bmw bike which probably wouldnt have fit in. And I just started putting a few pieces on the bike today. But I would have had to ride min el shalaihaat to come to the bike show, and I slept late! lol! I was looking forward to lunch.. I should stop typing and go back to work! lol

it was really an honor to meet you down there.. you're a great guy hands down.. thanks for your time.. and there were great pieces of art over there.. good looking machines, and great thunder sounds that went with it when we left.. :)

And some of those bikes are rediculous expensive and you cant ride them much! I love riding bikes, but those kinds of bikes just dont handle well for my type of riding!

Marzouq: There were a few BMW Bikes at the show! Granted they weren't being shown off but they were still there! As for the helmet, who do you think I am? Special Ed from Crank Yankers? LOL! :oP
Mosan Mosan: Allah isalmik! Chalet is fun but I prefer to go during the day so I can swim a little but since I don't have one of my own and only go when I'm invited it's hard to enjoy the sea when the people always want to go at night and sit and talk! I have gone night swimming last summer which was amazing though! As for The Don you can read his blog to find out more! Concerning breakfast, that would have been a treat! :oP
The Don: The honor is all on this end! As for the bikes/machines you are so right! Thanks for the compliments and you're welcome for the time and effort!
Marzouq: Some were pretty pricey and that's true! Quite a few had some major work done to them as well!

Salamtic!! That is a cruel bump on yur head...I hope it heals up soon. Remember, you can always take excederin for any headaches.. or was it "E"? I forget...
The bike show was amazing...I wish I could have been there longer. I voted for the Don, but to no avail. :(

salamat for the head injury incident...i know how it feels ohh well its painful but i always laugh it off anywho....wow you had a better weekend than me....i hope you enjoyed everything u did....well know ur making me think how boring and tedious my days were spent....ohh as for the chalet bit i hope the beach was beautiful and am wonderin did u watch the sunset if so....that would be such a sight to witness adding to the happiness of the day.....in all can i borrow your weekend it sounds so fun and lively :)

Caff: Pets aren't allowed in the house, plus my mom is allergic to pet hairs!
As for the head injury, Allah isalmich and I don't have a headache but I will take your advice on the pills! ;o)

Your Battlefield: Allah isalmich! I was hurting but I laughed it off as well! I didn't realise I was bleeding till later on! I enjoyed my weekend but I bet my weekend was just as fun as yours! The beach was amazing and the sunset was to die for! The full moon also helped me enjoy the night sky! You can have my weekend at any time! :o)

dude...wallah, we were supposed to go to PAWS on Thursday too with a friend of mine who would like to adopt a cat...
I even called them, but I could have only gotten there after 1pm, and they said thats too late...

The first orange bike can be seen with The Don's blue bike!
The second orang bike, which is the one who won "best in show" belongs to a Bahraini guy!
The third orange bike belongs to a Kuwaiti guy!
