TOPIC 1 : Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim (Bo Ali)
I know I haven't been posting anything but that's just due to being over worked by both the private sector and the government! I do have to admit some laziness, but I do need some relax time when working for those two! :oP

I have so many things I want to write about but I will refrain from writing them all in one post and I will actually spread them out into 3 separate posts!

TOPIC 1 : Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim (Bo Ali)

Everyone knows that elections are here and people are running around trying to get things done! Due to the fact that a person cannot do anything by himself/herself, the work is delegated to specific committees! The issue I would like to talk about and shed some light on regards the photograph below and all the misunderstanding, confusion, anger behind it!

The committee in charge of the campaign's information distribution and advertising (lajnat al-i3lam) had the company who printed the posters that are placed in the neighborhood which Mr. Al-Ghanim is running for and the actual engineer decided to use the pic that people say was fake and made up! Mr. Al-Ghanim has many pictures of this photograph, some of which are actual photographs and some that are painted! The engineer from the printing firm decided to go for the clearest picture that he got his hands on, which was the picture that everyone is mad about! The reason for the engineer selecting that pic was because it was a picture that was painted in color and the clearest one from the selection! The painting was given to the Al-Ghanim family as is, without Mr. Al-Khaled and it was not altered by the Al-Ghanim family or by Marzooq!

Mr. Al-Ghanim was extremely upset about what happened and he talked to the Al-Khalid family regarding this mishap and apologized! The Al-Khalid family said that it was ok and that he shouldn't worry! They also told him that he can keep the posters up! He refused and apparently he's in the process of changing them!

I hope this explanation of what happened fulfills everyone's curiosity and releases everyone from their anger! The whole thing was just a flaw in the process!

People always overreact in Kuwait and find criticism where none was intended.

Tooomz: I admit I didn't like what happened when I first saw the posters but I had to find out why! a few people lashed out without asking! The reason for the anger is from the fact that pictures were faked by Al-Watan paper and the people might have thought that something along that line has occurred here!

still think he is a fraud and a phony, but hey "il shabab" yaboona its not a smart way of thinking and seriously STOP making excuses for him cuz its obvious that Alkhaled was taken out of the picture on purpose u fail to mention that the guy he left to stand out in the picture is Al-ghanim and so it doesn't seem like a mistake to me or as a matter of fact to anyone!

Anonymous: We discussed readers like you in the last Blogger Meet Up! Readers who don't actually read the post and yet comment on it thinking they know the content of the what was written! You have a right to your own opinion but before commenting please read the entire post and think before you type!

Well that was a decent explanation, and if the members from Al-Ghanim and Al-Khalid discussed things, and worked it out then its all for the better. I can understand why people would be mad about things, but a clear picture would be better for the posters. But people do one thing best in Kuwait which is jump to conlusions!

Marzouq: You are so true, but there are people who jump to the conclusions and stick to them like roaches on a roach trap then there are those who don't mind facing the facts and apologising to what happened! There are also those who spread more rumors such as th eone about Ms. Bodai!

It's true when they say, "الاشاعة سلاح المفلسين"

Excuse me I did think and read before I typed ur blog specifically said how u hated how people over reacted here in kuwait and the topic u were discussing was how marzouq al ghanims posters did not mean to do what they did at all and it was just that the picture he used was clearer. So I replied by saying that I personally think it was intentional and that was replying directly to ur blog. We've discussed people like you who cant take critisim and its not a nice trait so dahhling plz read the blog well before critizing it ;)

Anonymous: I can take criticism but the reason I said you didn't read my blog is beacue you skipped the fact that I said, "The engineer from the printing firm decided to go for the clearest picture that he got his hands on, which was the picture that everyone is mad about! The reason for the engineer selecting that pic was because it was a picture that was painted in color and the clearest one from the selection! with all due respect i would like to put forward a simple question that i hope can be answered in the utmost decency or not at all: what could mr. marzouq alghanim gain by removing the picture of mr. hmoud zaid alkhalid?
