Dedication
This might seem petty but I want to dedicate this song to her even though I know she won't read this post and won't get the dedication!

Ahwak by Abdel Halim Hafez

The following are the lyrics to the song. The first set are the lyrics in Arabic and the second are the lyrics translated into English! (Source)

Ahwak (I love you)

Part 1

I love you.
And I wish if I ever forget you,
I forget my soul with you.
And if it becomes lost, it's OK,
If you've forgotten me.

So I forget you,
And I forget all you pain.
And I start longing for it again.
And I find my tears remember you.
So I return to you.

At times,
The whole world comes with you.
And its wish is your wish.
And then, maybe you will end,
Depriving my love of you.

Part 2

Part 3

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.
And my eyes meeting yours.
And the words written on your face,
While you try to hide them.

And I'd nourish you,
Wake up from my sleep to call you.
And send my soul to wake you.
So you who has stirred my soul,
Try out my fire.

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.
And my eyes meeting yours.
And the words written on your face,
While you try to hide them.

And I'd nourish you,
Wake up from my sleep to call you.
And send my soul to wake you.
So you who has stirred my soul,
Try out my fire.

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.
And my eyes meeting yours.
And the words written on your face,
While you try to hide them.

And I'd nourish you,
Wake up from my sleep to call you.
And send my soul to wake you.
So you who has stirred my soul,
Try out my fire.

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.
And my eyes meeting yours.
And the words written on your face,
While you try to hide them.

And I'd nourish you,
Wake up from my sleep to call you.
And send my soul to wake you.
So you who has stirred my soul,
Try out my fire.

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.

My eyes meeting yours.
And my eyes meeting,
Meeting yours.

And the words written on your face,
And the words written on your face,

And you, you, you try to hide them.

I dream of finding you
Thinking of me, and I of you.
And my eyes meeting yours.

And the words written on your face,
While you, you try to hide them.

Tooomz: This song was from the 60s and back then the songs were all long! I could have posted the longer version which is 13 minutes long instead of this 5 minute version! :oP

Purg: Arabic songs are nice! They are filled with meaning, emotions, and heart! I would put a country song but couldn't find out with these lyrics!

Your longest post EVER! Holy hell. Hmmm, you left her this time... but you want HER to ask YOU back? Role reversal my friend... but good luck. ;-)

And isn't it crazy how our emotions are up, down, under, around and all in the space of a single breath?

Unknown Entity: I never left her! She left me, twice! I told her that I will NOT be the one to leave her!

She also knows that I will always be there for her and that if I could I would be her bf again!

As for the emotions, it truly is a roller coaster ride!

    Stallion,

Why do you want someone back who left you not once but TWICE. In relationships there are ups and downs but if you love the person you stay commited and not walk away. It's easier to love when it's all sunshine but the true love is when they are still there when it rains.. Please give it time to rethink wanting her back, what if she comes back but leaves you later when you really love her. Just seek comfort from your friends and loved ones, and with time things will be clearer and not as painful. I don't know you, but I think you deserve better than a girl who can't make up her mind and stay in a relationship. You also seem to have lots of female admirer’s, so I don't think it will be long before you have a 10000 suitors vying for your attention. Sorry for your tears now, but God willing they will be smiles soon.

Anonymous: Welcome to my blog, but when it comes to this girl, I really love her with all my heart! I wasn't willing to let her go and I wasn't willing to be let go but it happened! From the time I met her till now I can say that I know her pretty well and despite me still being a tad confused why she chooses not to be with me I know that she's going through some rough times and she needs to figure those out first!
I am still here for her anytime she needs me and I am her best friend and she knows this!

As for the other "admirers" I'm quite flattered that they like me but what's the use in that if I don't know any of them nor do they want to do anything about tehir feelings!

Diver: Firstly, I would like to welcome you to my blog! Secondly, time might cure most things but not all! There hasn't been one day that went by where I haven't either thought of her, dreamt of her, or wished I was with her! We had soo many good and memorable times together that no matter what I do or how long I live I will not forget her and our times together! Great memories are hard to erase from one's memories especially as a grown up!

    S,

In life there will always be problems, hence when I said in rainy times as well love should continue. If she has tough times thne she should seek solace in you, not run. Stallion you may always love her, and down the road you will have days you think of her and it aches! But if you can't depend on your love then who do you depend on. Also take this time to heal between relationships, carrying baggage is not cool, so see what is in your heart and head, make those straight then move on to Ms. Right. And there will be more chicas to feel the void, hehe maybe one who keeps posting on your blog as "anonymous" :")

Anonymous: I feel like she's Ms. Right! I know what you mean though! I understand what you are trying to say!

When it come to those who comment anonymously and confess that they like me why don't they tell me in person? How should I know who they are and whether or not I really know them?

    S,

When you use exclamations are you yelling at me or just excited? Also would you really be open to dating a new girl or just dating someone for the time being, then leaving them if "D" comes back? I know that I would be afraid to date you because I would think you were just using me as a rebound girl, till Mrs.Right came back.....

Anonymous: I am an honest guy and if I get into a relationship I stick to it! I am not the type of guy who would cheat! My love for "D" will always be there but if another girl comes into my life she will be my gf and "D" will always be my best friend! Get it? Does this make sense?

When it comes to the exclamation marks, well I like using them and I've been labelled "The King of Exclamation Marks!"

  • At December 19, 2005 6:37 PM, Blogger Unknown said…

Humn? good question. so what's your answer?
    - initial meet up: blind date!
    :)

  • At December 19, 2005 6:39 PM, Blogger The Stallion said…

***Diamon***: My answer would be that the person should disclose who she is (i.e say her real name) and a pic would be nice! If a pic is not available then a "blind date" like you put it or a meet up with a group of friends so both people wouldn't feel awkward and they would have friends to fall upon and not be alone!

I owe you an apology, I am sorry. I didn't mean to offend you, that wasn't my intent and I am sorry I came across as pushy and witchy. I know that it's hard in a break-up and my insensitive remarks didn't help anything. So please accept my apologies for having no manners and putting my keys in my mouth. And yes you are the King of Exclamations! :0)

    P.S.
I didn't mean to say to date a girl on-line that you never meet, just that maybe the girls are able to see into your thoughts on your blog and like what they see. But your right if they don't come forward then theres nothing you can do. Again sorry.

I have to admit there might be a slight feeling of frustration! I loved "D" with all my heart and I was ready to do anything for her!

Please don't take my comments as harsh remarks or a means of getting angry and scholding/yelling at anyone!

    :o)

    S,

You didnt come across harsh, I just didn't say what I meant the right way. I know what it's like to love someone with your all, no matter what they say or do you will still want them. To just want one more chance to say how much you love them, and to still worry about them even after they have left you. *Hug* But I guess what I should have said is that one day she will see what she so carelessly gave up, and miss you. It may not be today or tomorrow but she will. Because S there are not a lot of men out there who would be willing to give up all they have for a girl. I hope the best for you, in all you do.

Qatar Cat: The reason why I'm handling it pretty well is because I had a feeling the second break up was coming! The first break up was devistating and I don't want to get into that! As for this break up I had a feeling it was coming cause I tried to call her and I send her text msgs but there is no reply!

Either way, I agree with QC. You are handling it with grace and style. :)

    S,

Since your not mad at me, things are looking way up! Thanks for the wish of good luck, the New Year is almost here so I need to think hard about my New Years Resolution. I want this year to be devoted to making myself happy and fixing all my hang-ups so that way I can let someone else in. I want to be a compliment to someone not a supplement. As I forgot to tell you that I like the song, it's as if your heart was singing the words, and if she didn't feel them then her heart can't feel.

    Caffe,

I wish I could put your spirit in my cup each day in hopes that I would have even 1/10 of the charm, wit, and cojones you have! I just recently read your blog, but it seems like a place that I will be a repeat customer to. Females world wide should look to you for some of your personality, I know that I am trying to fill my cup up. Thanks Cafenia for showing that women can have Inteligencia y Corazon. Happy Holidays to you and your Family.

You said, "I want to be a compliment to someone not a supplement." I have to say that the sentance was amazing!
If she reads this post she would probably feel the words but she doesn't read blogs too often so with my luck she won't know I even posted it!

When it comes to Caff then I have to second your sentences that say, "Females world wide should look to you for some of your personality," and "Thanks Cafenia for showing that women can have Inteligencia y Corazon." Caff is an amazing young lady and anyone who has her as a friend should feel honored! Sje truly is an intelligent woman who has lots of heart and is always willing to help out! ;o)
