For The Love of God, Save Us Single People! |
According to the BBC News, "The health benefits of being married are so large that single men are at greater risk of dying than smokers, says a study." This article has been shown to me by Nibaq, so thanks for looking out I guess! :oP
What should I be telling myself now? What should all single men and women be saying now?
If you want to read the whole article click here! |

Living longer & miserable vs. dying younger & enjoying life.
-
Tooomz: I don't think getting married will make someone's life miserable! I understand the basis of "Dying younger & enjoying life" but I can get married and "live longer" but will enjoy it!
Growing up with the one I love, raising kids, and seeing the world change around me!
-
Mar: If the person sleeping next to me is the one I love then I will cope with the snoring just to have her next to me!
-
Humn? I don't know. Seems like it's a risk either way. But if you get the right person they the risk was well worth it. If not then you are out luck buddy!
-
***Diamon***: I hope I get the right young lady! The benchmark is a little high but I'll have to see how lucky I can get when it comes to finding someone to grow up with!

This article is just too hysterical!! I saw your comment on my blog, thanks for the info. See you soon and next time, you're in the tournament!
-
Tessa: The article was funny and it makes me think twice about the single life! Makes me wanna look harder and be "taken" quickly!
Ad for the tournie I wouldn't mind playing and you're welcome with regards to the comment! I hope the info comes in handy!

I think the study is flawed. You brought up the notion of "love", Stallion, and it made me start thinking.
The study should have divided the people based on "in love" and "not in love". "Single" and "Married" does not consider that factor, it only assumes it.
You can be single and in love, and you can be married and *really* dislike your partner.
So my hypothosis is this: The following is increasing order of "length of life":
Married and not in love Single and not in love Single and in love Married and in love
What do you think?
-
Caff: I kinda agree with you but I want to change the order a little!
Shortest Life Span goes to: Married and not in love AND Single and in love
Mid Lifw Span goes to: Single and not in love
Longest Life Span goes to: Married and in love
