| Project Name |
At work I have to deal with the names and information behind specific projects! I was going through the list and I fall upon the following project :
تخزين وتوزيع الزفت
After reading that name I couldn't stop laughing! Why? Well it all depends on how you look at the name! The actual project in English would be called "The Storage and Distribution of Asphalt" but the literal translation in the Kuwaiti dialect would be "The Storage and Distribution of Crap"! |

I am doing a market research of all restos in kuwait and i came aaround on some really fnky names, yabeela resto, Al 3emara, Kaborya, mat3am la7za, mat3am jhon abu ja3far.... and so many more :P

When people name companies / restaurants / etc, they should probably think of what the name:
1. Literally means in Arabic
2. Figuratively means in Arabic
3. What the Arabic name would sound like / mean to an English speaker, and what the English name would sound like / mean to an Arabic speaker
4. What the English name means in English
There was a restaurant in 7awali called the "Cock Prince". The owner meant "Rooster." *sigh*
