| Marriage |
I've come to the age where family members are asking me about marriage and when I will be getting married! I have to admit I have thought about it in the past year since I've been back to Kuwait but I keep putting it off due to not finding that "special Someone" or "Ms. Right"!
Yesterday my mom opened the subject of marriage with me when I came home from work cause she saw me in my Dishdasha and bisht (kinda like the one pictured below but it's a winter bisht not a summer bisht)!
My mom asked me if I thought of the subject and if I had someone in mind and I told her that I had someone but it didn't work out! She was amazed to hear me say that but then she goes on talking!
I guess it all started last week on my b-day when my dad gave me a card that said something on the basis that I have one year left! My dad got married at the age of 27 and so did my older brother! So now since I am next in line to get married and going to be 27 next year my dad was making fun of the situation! My mom took it seriously!
Nothing against getting married or anything, I already admitted that I am willing if the right girl comes into my life but the request from my family was wired cause they were using the "old way" of thinking!
Any of you guys/girls out there going through this or have gone through it? |

| Birthday Gifts |
On Thursday I received a few gifts from some special friends so I decided to put them together and take a picture of it! Thanks for those who gave me a present, you didn't have to! (Don't take me seriously! I'm glad you bought me presents! I'm also glad non of them are TOYS!) ;o)
Caff: She gave me the horse crop, the 2 jockey goggles, the horse shoe key chain, and an amazing table top plaque made out of glass and has a golden stallion on the inside!
Tooomz: Gave me the orange card that had Stallion written on the side in different hand writings and she also ordered me the British comedy "Ab Fab" on DVD but since it didn't arrive on time I couldn't take a pic of it!
Rampurple: Got me the Gusto Chocolates. Delicious! :o)
Nibaq: I think he's getting me an umbrella even though it hasn't arrived yet but I'm not sure if he went through with it!
A: She got me the 3 frames! Thank you!
S: Gave me the S. T. Dupont key chain! It's amazing buddy!
D and D: The got me Fresh, a fragrance from Dunhill and their little white card that said, "You don't own me!" That was a quote from Eddie Murphy's stand up show called Raw!

| Mourning OR Celebration |
January 15th 2006 will be a day that will not be forgotten in the eyes of Kuwaitis around the world. Especially the next 40 days of mourning! Today though, January 16th 2006 is my birthday so what am I supposed to do or feel?
TODAY IS MY 26th BIRTHDAY
As much as I want to I want to say the following today but I will refrain from saying it in person and just put the following pic up!

| Business trip |
Hey people!
How is everyone's new year? Going well I hope? For those of you who know me personally, then you would know that I had to leave Kuwait early Sunday morning! Yes people I had to be at Kuwait ariport at 7AM on the 1st of January!
I had a wonderful, chill night having finger food and playing games then I headed home at 1Am to get some sleep before going to the airport! Woke up, did my thing then went to the airport, and flew out! Qatar Air;ines to Doha Qatar! The flight was short and sweet and I was asleep the whole time! Even before take off! Got to Qatar and was shocked at how bad their airport was and how horrible the ground crew's service was! I don't think I will fly to Qatar anymore! I have to admit their service within in plane was amazing though! Who out there is an American Express Gold Card holder? For those of you who are then you know you can use the First Class Lounge at any airport! BUT... there is one exception... you CANNOT use the card to enter the First Class Lounge at Qatar Airport! Crazy huh!?
Anyways, what was supposed to be a 50 minute transit turned into a 3 hour lay over! FINALLY, we leave Qatar and off to Sudan we go! YES PEOPLE! YOU READ IT PROPERLY! I DID SAY SUDAN! :oP I wasn't expecting to come to a place that was still 34 degree Celcius at this time of year! The weather here is AMAZING! The view from my room is breath taking! I wanted to post a few pictures but I couldn't! Reason for that is cause I don't have access to the internet using my laptop and my flashcard doesn't want to hold any new files! Everytime I add a new fil to the flash disk it says it's on there and I can access the files but as soon as I take the disk out of the USB slot and put it in the same slot or different slot I cannot access the files anymore cause they are not there! Wierd huh!?!?
Arrived in Sudan 3 hours late and waited in the VIP lounge at the airport for another 2 hours before leaving! We left without our bags! We got to the hotel, checked in and about 15 minutes later we get the bags! I unpacked, showered, got dressed then had the chaufer drive my manager and I around the place and give us a short tour! We got back to the hotel and I passed out! Next day we went to the organization's HQ where the meetings are being held and spend all day there preparing! We got into the office at 9AM and didn't get back to the hoteltill 6PM! I showered and went out to dinner at 8PM and had some amazing fish! The fish here tastes great! Got home at 1AM and passed out immediatly!
First day of meetings was ok! Had to go through some rough sessions but all-in-all it went well! meetings started at 11AM and ended at 3:30PM but work for me started at 9AM and ended at 5PM! After relaxing a bit and taking a shower I am back in a different suit waiting for dinner to start!
I WILL POST PICTURES NEXT TIME!
I was told I can bring my laptop down to the business center and connect using my laptop!
Time for me to go!
