What Did I Play Last Night in My Car? |
Well people, everyone knows I got my car last night and many people have graciously suggested a few songs but this post will list what was played!
Nibaq and I went into the dealership garage and I got into the car while he was snapping pictures! I asked the salesman to put in 2 CD's into the changer!
The first CD was the soundtrack to the movie Human Traffic and the first track was a dialogue from the movie that said,
"The weekend has landed. All that exists now is clubs, drugs, pubs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk cod shit to strangers all night, I'm gonna lose the plot on the dance floor. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Jip Travolta, I'm Peter Popper, I'm going to never-never land with my chosen family, man. We're gonna get more spaced out than Neil Armstrong ever did, anything could happen tonight, you know? This could be the best night of my life. I've got 73 quid in my back burner - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Milky Bars are on me! Yeah!"
What a quote huh?? Then a few house tracks from that CD!
After that it was Dave Matthews Band's Under The Table and Dreaming CD!
Nibaq and I were in a country mood so we talked about Garth Brooks and next thing you know I play Garth on my iPod! |

New Car NEEDS First CD |
For those of you who read my blog, then you know I am in the market for a new car! Well, tomorrow is the day that I actually get to drive my new car out of the dealership! The vehicle has been picked out and paid for in full and all the paperwork has been completed!
I don't know what to name the car yet and to add to that I don't know what the first CD I'm going to play when I get in! I am thinking something along the lines of Dave Matthews Band or John Mayer! Maybe even Gavin DeGraw! I might also stick in Armin Van Buuren, a MOS CD or something!
Any suggestions as to what should be the first CD/song that should be played in my car to Christen the CD player?

What Mythological Creature Are You? |
I took a quiz today since I've seen a few people take it so I said, "Might as well do it myself!" I think this is true about me but I want to know what those of you know me would say about it!
| You scored as Angel. Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.

Fraudulent Sale |
While reading today's paper I found the following article:
The article pretty much talks about how Villa Moda had a 50% off sale and that there was a huge crowd of willing shoppers! The thing that's funny and at the same time makes me mad at how ignorant some people are, is that Villa Moda never has a sale! When the bring a product into the Kuwaiti market they charge astronomical prices and when they say they are having a "SALE" they are still making money cause you can still get the exact same product from abroad for cheaper even with shipping and handling fees!
Say for example something is worth $300 in the US, what this place does is take the $ sign off and puts KD instead! Therefore a product that costs about KD90 is going for KD300!!! RIP OFF! Now that they are having a 50% off sale then the price of that product will still be KD150 which is still way over the line! Anyone can get the same product for cheaper! I realize that Villa Moda has to pay for it's employees and other expenses but why do they have to trick people into buying things by saying that it's on sale where in actuality they are finally charging the actual price!
I'm just venting here cause I just don't like the way people are being taken advantage of and they don't even realize it! |

Ahwak (I love you)
Part 1
I love you. And I wish if I ever forget you, I forget my soul with you. And if it becomes lost, it's OK, If you've forgotten me.
So I forget you, And I forget all you pain. And I start longing for it again. And I find my tears remember you. So I return to you.
At times, The whole world comes with you. And its wish is your wish. And then, maybe you will end, Depriving my love of you.
Part 2
I love you. And I wish if I ever forget you, I forget my soul with you. And if it becomes lost, it's OK, If you've forgotten me.

At times, The whole world comes with you. And its wish is your wish. And then, maybe you will end, Depriving my love of you.
Part 3
I dream of finding you Thinking of me, and I of you. And my eyes meeting yours. And the words written on your face, While you try to hide them.
And I'd nourish you, Wake up from my sleep to call you. And send my soul to wake you. So you who has stirred my soul, Try out my fire.
I dream of finding you Thinking of me, and I of you. And my eyes meeting yours. And the words written on your face, While you try to hide them.

A Msg From God? |
I haven't been to Friday prayer for a while now so today I took the initiative and went especially since my dad is not in town so I went instead of him! When the Imam started talking I felt like the whole sermon/speech was pointed at me directly! I felt like writing my previous post and the sermon/speech were related in some wired spiritual aspect! The topic of the day was patience! The Imam kept of going on about how things happen cause God wants it to happen and that the best thing to do it have patience and wait till something happens! He mentioned that things happen in specific times and that being patient and waiting for those things to occur is a virtue! He used the example of marriage and how patience is required to instill harmony within the relationship! I don't want to sound too religious but as much as I believe that things happen cause it's already written for us by God but I just don't understand the whole "wait for things to take their course!" Shouldn't a person work and try to achieve the things that he/she wants? Wouldn't something pass you by if you don't try to obtain it? Should I take this msg into consideration or should I keep looking and at the same time hope something comes my way?

Time Goes By So Slowly! |
I have to things to write about in this post! 1) The Madonna party at the Movenpik 2) Loneliness In regards to the Madonna Party, I was wondering who went! I heard the party was really "shitty"! I had a friend go and he informed me that the crowd wasn't up to par! He said that there were groups of boys that would come in and that the group looked like your typical Marina Mall drop outs! "You know the boys who look like shit but try so hard to pay to get their hair done and buy clothes that don't even match!" said my friend! My friend went in with a friend and a girl and they left 10 minutes after walking into the tent! I asked him about the music but the only think he said was, "al-7afla it`thayig al5ilq" and it wasn't worth the ticket! Anyone out there have any objections? When it comes to loneliness, I still feel empty and that something (a big thing) is missing in my life now that I'm single! I was hoping to find someone by New Years but I don't think that will happen! I know it's still early in the month and New Year is 22 days away and "time goes by so slowly," I don't think I will be lucky enough to be with someone by then and actually call her my gf! :o( I miss being in a relation ship! :`o(

For The Love of God, Save Us Single People! |
According to the BBC News, "The health benefits of being married are so large that single men are at greater risk of dying than smokers, says a study." This article has been shown to me by Nibaq, so thanks for looking out I guess! :oP
What should I be telling myself now? What should all single men and women be saying now?

Vehicle Issues |
Most of you know that I am thinking of getting a new car and I actually boiled all my choices down 2 to SUVs! I also set up a poll regarding this issue and the following table shows the results to the poll!
Current Results
| Votes | 2007 BMW X5 | 37% | 7 | 2006 Audi Q7 | 26% | 5 | I don't know! I like both! | 5% | 1 | A different SUV! (Please leave a comment as to which one you would say would be better!) | 32% | 6 | | | | 19 votes total |
What can be seen is that the BMW has most of the votes followed by "different SUV" then the Audi! Now there are changes, and the drama continues! I was notified that the X5 will not be coming out in the Middle Eastern region till early 2007! I cannot wait till then so the idea of getting one is scratched! As for "different SUV" not many people specified which one so that is out of the question! In other words the only thing left is the Audi Q7, but that too also has issues!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE EASY! I WAS SOOO WRONG!
The dealership here said that the Q7 will be entering the market in March 2006 so they will be taking orders this month! They called me up yesterday and informed me that there is no updates on the situation and that they are NOT taking orders! Hence it's most likely going to be that orders will be taken in March for vehicles arriving in June or July!
Now, it kinda suck but it's the only way to go, I'm looking at the BMW 550i! I saw the first one to come to Kuwait last Thursday and it was nice! That is one option and the other one is a BMW my brother just called me about! The other BMW is a modified 3 series and I will update this post by adding pictures of it once I take a look at it after work!
Do you guys have any advice or point of view regarding the issue at hand?

Moving on! |
Despite the wonderful saga that's going on in my last post this blog has to move on and so do I! I am still single so don't get any thoughts! :oP
Lets talk about my weekend! Wednesday after an unorganized meeting at a different firm I went home to relax before going out to meet a few people! Most of the evening was spent driving a friend around Kuwait but when 10 PM came I met up with 3 friends (JC was one of them) and we went to Cosmo! We played to rounds of bowling then I left to go home while they continued their night! Before that we went to City Center at the Souq Salmiya and took some really silly photographs! :oP
Thursday, I wanted to wake up early and go Car Showroom hopping but that didn't happen! Instead I woke up at 11 and the only place I went to was the BMW dealership! The news I got from there was very upsetting but at the same time they showed me a brand new car that really got my attention! That afternoon I drove around to kill time before going to a BBQ over at Fadibou and Missundaztood's place (Purg was there as well as Toomz, Caffinated, Rampurple, and JC!)
Friday, after having lunch with the family I packed my bags to prepare for a night of Paintballing then went to the AWL's (American Women's League) Bazaar sale at the Movenpick and bought some things! I mainly went to support my friend Samboose since she had a booth set up! I bought a hat from her booth and some lady got upset that I bought it and when I was kidding about selling the hat to her for KD10 then she came to me later and said she would pay KD12 for something I paid KD 4.750 for! Unfortunately I didn't get to play Paintball but I did manage to get my hands on 2 Taco bell Burittos! I then went to visit and aunt before meeting up with JC, A, and D at Edo!
Well that was it for my weekend! Anything compared to your weekend? |
