I saw this pic and 2 things came to mind, especially when I saw the 2 red buttons on the top! The first thing was an incident last night and the second was an incident that occurred today at work! When you see this image what comes into your mind?

I met up with a special someone and drove her to the Emporium close to the 5th ring road! We walked around that place and saw some nice things! Then we went to an Electronic store where we wanted to look at PCs and Laptops but that didn't quite happen! We ended up getting something from a cafe before I had to leave her and go home! I kissed her hand that she used to magically fix something in my car! ;o)

Rampurple reminded me of the fact that later that night I met up with her and a few other friends for a picnic by the beach and had a good time despite being bombareded by questions which I tended to keep quite and not answer! :oP
Thursday
Woke up and had a great breakfast after talking to someone very special to me over MSN! I them met up with a special friend and we drove around and ended up at the Museum of Modern Art that's located close to the Amiri Hospital and the Sharq Mall! After spending plenty of time there we were pretty hungry! I drove to Yeldez Palace that's on the 3rd floor of Humood Towers by the Muthana Complex! Once we were done with lunch we had ice cream then went on our separate ways!
Later that evening I met up with two bloggers, one of which I know and the other which I had the pleasure in meeting! The 3 of us went to the cancer benefit in Khaldiya! We had an amazing time talking, laughing and trying to get to know each other in a small period of time! Time went by so quickly and the night was over!
Friday
Woke up bright and early and met up with my special someone for breakfast! I introduced her to a few friends and we all had lots of fun! After breakfast we sat down at a coffee shop and looked through magazines discussing specific things that we found within those mags! Eventually the time came and we all had to go!
I went home showered, changed and drove out to Ahmadi to attend the Terry Fox Run! I said hi to Sabmoose even though she was extremely busy trying to help out with the event! I couldn't stay there for long cause Friday it the weekly family day and I had to meet up with my family at Gaucho Grill! Below is a video of the stadium in case anyone wants to take a look!
That night I met up with my special someone and we drove around for a bit and then we went to a local hotel and walked around checking it out! We had our talks and our laughs while having a wonderful time but when people have a good time, time tends to go by real fast! Time flew by and I had to drive her back to her car so she can go home!

Ok! I wanted to post the following earlier but I was having issues with getting the pictures off my phone and onto my computer! Now that I'm at work I used the cable here and it worked without any problems so here goes!
Thursday
Left the house and ended up renting a car for a long weekend! Nothing special just a Chevy! Once I got the car, I filled the tank up and drove to Wafra! Why you ask? Well, I met up with a friend at IVH (International Veterinary Hospital), and from there we went to PAWS! I was excited to be around cats and dogs again, but me being soo over excited got me hurt! While taking the dogs out to play I always forgot that the gate to the bigger playground is small and that I have to bend down abit in order to go through it! Clumsy me, I hit my head on the top part of the gate 3 times! The 3rd hit was hard and I actually cut my head right by the hair line!
After that I drove back to civilization to get things taken care or before going to chalet where I was invited by a friend for a dinner! I arrived at the chalet a little after 5 and enjoyed sitting in the sun talking with friends while being bothered by the neighbors trying to tear down the cover of their chalet! Dinner was served, music was playing, and we were talking non stop! We sang a few songs and laughed the night away till I decided to drive back to civilization again and pass out!
Friday
Left the house at 1 to go to the barber shop where I got a shave, then headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for the Bike Show! I met up with The Don, saw his bikes (which BTW are for sale) and talked to him then met up with Miss Cosmo and a friend inside the restaurant! When Miss Cosmo left, Nibaq, Caff, Tooomz, and K showed up and I hung out with them! We saw the winners take their gifts and we saw everyone leave before we headed out! All of us except for K went to grab some food and then went home!

I was invited to a friend's house for breakfast. Had an amazing breakfast consisting of pancakes, cheese, eggs, bread, milk, tea, ....... then we sat outside listening to music while talking and drinking tea under the shade of a palm tree! After that, I had to go to my Grand Ma's house for lunch! Once lunch was over, I went home and watched 3 movies in a row before going to dinner at my other Grand Ma's place! I didn't stay there for long cause I went to the airport to greet Jazz Central!
Mashallah April is filled with activities! Parties, b-days, benefits, dinners, concerts, and mainly shows! Many of you know about the dog show that occurred last Friday, but this coming Friday (April 14th) there is something totally different! There will be a Bike Show at the Hard Rock Cafe parking lot! Come out and enjoy the amazing bikes and while you're doing that help out a fellow blogger! Who you ask? Well, the winner of the "Sexiest Male Blogger" category of the Blogger Awards, the one and only, The Don! He is going to present his bike at the show so you can help him out by voting for him! The voting starts at 4PM! See you all there!
My friend sent me an amazing link to a website called EA Spotter! While going through the site and looking at the amazing vehicles I fell upon the SUV below and the only question that popped into my min was, "WHY?"
The guy must have had lots of time on his hand and lots of money to do what he has done but he also has low self-esteem and no class! BTW notice how the turn signal is out of place and dangling on the side of the car?!
Does anyone know about this silly firm here in Kuwait? I've heard it was set up by an Egyptian guy who works at Hard Rock and who used to work at Hang Out! The reason I ask is cause, some of you know that there was an huge even last Thursday that was a blast and to my surprise the guy was there! I talked to some people and it seemed like that guy was giving out business cards with "DINA" as the contact person! In actuality the guy was littering cause the cards were all over the place and even in the trash! Seems like he also needs to put "DINA" as the contact person in order to get clients! I can see it now, him taking credit for the last event! People taking credit for other people's events or them taking credit for a specific idea has happened and it pisses me off! So if anyone who was at the event please feel free to comment regarding this issue and if you heard anything and even if you did not go to the event but know more about Groove Whatever, I'd like to know some more!
A place that brought me lots of good times is closing down to make space for Washington DC's new baseball field! This news brings tears to my eyes and it makes me thankful that the last time I was in the DC area I actually went there and had a good time! Unfortunatly I will not be able to go for their last night at that building! Thanks to all the people who frequented, the Capital Ball Room, Buzz, Nation, and Cubik! I was loyal to this place and never went to the Baltimore Building when they were forced to relocate after Fox 5 messed things up for them! I have only been to thier events in that particular building! The memorise will always be cherished as well as the autographed cap, ticket stubs, posters and clothes! Farewell and good luck!

BUZZLIFE SAYS GOODBYE TO NATION NIGHTCLUB
WASHINGTON, DC - On July 16th 2006, after a decade of Buzzlife events, Nation Nightclub will close its doors. The building will soon make way for development as the southeast waterfront is restructured in preparation for the recently approved baseball stadium.
“While we are saddened to see our home of so many years close, this is a very exciting time for Buzzlife. Our time in DC is no where near its end and we have exciting things planned for 2006 and beyond,” remarks Scott Henry, president of Buzzlife Productions.
Nation was originally named The Capitol Ballroom and opened its doors in 1996 under the management of Cellar Door Productions. Buzzlife began throwing the flagship event ‘Buzz’ in October of the same year. In 1998, ownership transferred to John Boyle and the then warehouse venue was transformed into a multi-level superclub that would soon host every major electronic act in the world. In 2003, Buzz revamped its musical style and reopened as Cubik.
Buzzlife and Nation have won awards from major industry publications across the world. Nation was awarded the title of ‘Best US Superclub’ and Buzzlife, ‘Best Event Promoter.’ This made Buzz and Nation a destination for the top DJs in the industry and a milestone for up and coming Washington DC area DJs. Over the years, every 'Top 100 DJ' as named by BPM Magazine, the leading electronic music publication in the US, has performed at a Buzzlife Event at Nation.
The following issue has been bothering me for the past few days! The issue concerns schools and their events which include, bazaars, proms, and graduation celebrations! The person I am soo against and usually always am against is.....HIM!!

From what I have been reading, he is pissed off that private schools are holding events to make the life of their students a little more rememberable! Let the kids be and the schools as well! The schools are private, what does that have to do with you? Apparently he talks about how a specific school had an event and the principle was beaten up along with the security guards by 5 students! Then he talks about how another school held a dance and there were "lewd" things happening at that event! How does he know all this? Makes me think that he actually goes to those events and enjoys them, and then in the morning he goes to parliament and states that these things should not happen! This is from the person who goes to Turkey and Cancun to enjoy himself and say that he's on a "business trip"! :oP If the school wants to hold such events let them! Don't confine them to the premises of the school property! The students are paying for their education so if the school wants to have such events on or off campus it's up to them! Why does the government have to butt in? Deal with the serious issues and don't procrastinate with such things!
My msg to him would be to stop trying to boss us around and keep your trap shut! Not just that but please be true to yourself! Seems like everyday you have a new stance or a new position regarding an issue that's being discussed! Please let us live like civilized people and don't pull us back to the stone ages! This is the age of industrial growth, evolution and technology, not the age of carriages being pulled by horses, barter, and living in the dark. You can deal with the government schools all you want but stay away from the private schools! People pay good money to send their kids to these schools and the schools are giving the kids what the parents have paid for! These private institutions are broadening the horizons of our children and we don't need people like you to stop that growth! Anyways, it's not the schools that corrupt our kids it's the parents themselves! If the parents have brought their kids up well then the kids would act accordingly! (No offense to parents out there regarding the last point in this paragraph!)

Let's set the scene first...
It's night time at the magnificent ballroom in a five star hotel in Kuwait. The lights are dim and the room is chilled. Ushers are leading bloggers to their rounded tables. Everybody is dressed up for the occasion. Some rush to grab a table to sit with their buddies. The crowd is getting impatient, waiting for the show to begin.
Suddenly the spotlight lights up the stage and in walks MissCosmo wearing a red dress (equivalent to Julia Roberts dress in Pretty Women) as she makes her way to the podium.
"Ladies and Gentlemen" says MissCosmo "Welcome to tonight's results of the Kuwait Academy Blogger Awards!" (the audience roars)."The Executive Committee of the Kuwait Bloggers Awards would like to thank you for your votes and wonderful support. We've received so many great ideas and suggestions that we truly appreciate. Without your support this night would not have been possible! We begin our show tonight with the winners of the first category. To announce the first category, please welcome with me, winner of the best foreign Blog Award in the Saudi Bloggers, NuNu!"
The crowd claps and settles down as NuNu walks in wearing a long white dress (equivalent to Marilyn Monroe's dress in Some like It Hot). Her shiny red hair clearly making a beautiful contrast.
She giggles her way to the podium. "Thank you MissCosmo. It's such a honor to be here. I was so happy to win the best Foreign Award but I must say, it would've meant so much more to me if it was from my own home town. It's sad not to be as popular as you are in a Foreign country.." MissCosmo who is standing next to her, nudges her to get on with it and not turn it into a negative moment. NuNu regains her composure and continues "The winner of the Funniest blog award is" she opens the envelope and giggles "the winner is Bo Maryoum!"
The audience claps and laughs, turning to look for the Funniest blogger who is walking up to the stage to give a speech.
"Thank you so much" says Bo Maryoum as he cracks a joke on his way back to his seat.
MissCosmo continues "Congratulations, Bo Maryoum, I'll definitely be visiting your site from now on! And now to announce the next category of Sexiest Female Blogger, please welcome with me the advisor of the Executive committee, the infamous Purgatory!"
The crowd cheers, claps and some boos can be heard in the distance.
MissCosmo turns to the backstage waiting for Purg to come up to the podium. (He better show up thinks MissCosmo to herself!) After a long pause, Purg walks in wearing a black tuxedo and a "what's the big deal" attitude.
Purg begins "And the winner of the Sexiest Female Blog is..." MissCosmo interrupts "Aren't you going to say a few words first?" giving him a look of horror.
Purg calmly replies "No"
"Why?" asks MissCosmo clearly agitated.
"Because I'm Purg," satisfied to see the agitation in MissCosmo's face, he continues.
"The winner of the Sexiest Female Blog is" Purg opens the envelope and smirks "Jelly Belly!
The men in the audience roar and clap. The crowd is obviously very excited to see the Sexiest Female blogger.
Jelly Belly struts her stuff as she walks up to the microphone and says in a husky voice "Hello boys!" The men in the audience are clearly enjoying this as they roar and whistle.
"I just want to say thank you for all those that voted for me. I'm so touched. " she finishes her sentence with a wink as she struts off stage.
"We're happy to hear that Jelly Belly, ya sexy thang!" says MissCosmo.
"Congratulations!" And now ladies, brace yourselves, we're about to announce the winner of the Sexiest Male blogger!"
MissCosmo nervously opens the envelope hoping to finally meet the Sexiest Male blogger. Her heart is pounding as she looks at the envelope, takes a deep breath and says "Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome with me the Sexiest Male blogger, the one and only, the greatest mystery, The Don!
The women in the audience can't help themselves as they stand up to feast their eyes on the Sexiest Male Blogger.
MissCosmo looks around searching. The spotlight is on the the audience trying to find him but he is no where to be found. Disappointed beyond words, MissCosmo says "Unfortunately, looks like The Don is not with us here tonight but we send him our warmest congratulations."
"For our next category, Most Bizzare Blog, please welcome with me our Executive Board Member, the wonderful and best buddy The Stallion!"
The audience cheers and claps. One particular table begins to whistle and shout, obviously friends of the Stallion!
The Stallion walks up to the podium, dressed to kill. He then looks at the crowd and says "WHAtEVER!". The crowd cheers and screams.
"Thank you," says The Stallion as he begins "It's amazing to see so many bloggers all in one room! I never thought this could ever happen, what with all the drama I saw on my blog! This is great. Anyways, can I have the envelope please," MissCosmo passes him the envelope and he opens it. "Oh my God, the winner of the Most Bizzarre Blog is what do you know, Purgatory!"
Purgatory is obviously very pleased with himself and is not the least bit surprised as he walks up to the microphone and says "Everybody clap or I send you all to the Guillotine!" The crowd roars with laughter and claps as Purgatory proudly steps off the stage.
"For our next category, the best Joint Blog, the winners are" MissCosmo opens the envelope and smiles, "the wonderful, informative, interesting and knowledgeable Misguided & Ms. Baker".
Both Misguided and Ms. Baker known for their maturity and grace step up to the podium, giving their thanks for the award and to the Committee.
"Congratulations to you both and now ladies and gentlemen, before announcing the rest of the categories, we will take a fifteen minute break," announces MissCosmo.
The audience relaxes as they discuss the night so far.
"I better win in one of the categories," says one blogger to the person next to them.
"Don't worry, you will. You're the best," they answer back.
"Oh, thank you. You are too sweet. I love you."
"I love you too. Group hug."
Another blogger hears their conversation and rolls his eyes!
The recess is over and MissCosmo appears "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back. To announce our next category The Most Romantic Blog please welcome back NuNu!" MissCosmo turns to search for NuNu but she is backstage arguing with Purgatory about the night so far. MissCosmo is about to call her name when NuNu realizes it's her turn. She swiftly walks to the microphone and says "And the winner of the Most Romantic Blog is" she opens the envelope and excitingly says Jewaira"!
The audience is clearly excited to see Jewaira as they stand up to give the winner a standing ovation. Jewaira walks elegantly towards the stage, wearing an exquisite black strapless dress with diamond accesories.
In her soft voice she utters the words "Thank you" as the audience melts. The men are drooling and the women are looking on, some in admiration and some in envy.
Purg turns to MissCosmo and says "Come on, announce the next category." MissCosmo clearly enjoying the moment turns to NuNu and asks "What do you think?" NuNu replies, "No, wait. This is so romantic." To that, Purg replies "NuNu, be quite and announce the next category!" Stallion walks in on the conversation and asks "So what's next?"
Finally, all four are standing by the podium and MissCosmo says "Congratulations to the beautiful Jewaira. We have now come to our final two categories, the King and Queen of Blogosphere."
Behind her Purg and NuNu are arguing again. "I really don't see why we have to have a King of Blogosphere category," says Purg.
"If we have a Queen we should have a King," says NuNu.
"No, we don't" says Purg.
"Yes, we do" says NuNu.
"No, we don't"
"Yes, we do"
MissCosmo ignores them both and continues "and the winner of the King of Blogosphere category is Zaydoun!
Zaydoun walks up to the podium and says "And here I was thinking that I'm a failed writer! Thank you for your nominations."
"Congratulations to Zaydoun! We definitely know that you are no failed writer Zaydoun! Last but least, to announce our final category Queen of Blogoshere, please welcome again our very own Stallion. The Stallion takes the envelope and slowly opens it "The winner of the Queen of Blogosphere is Shurouq!
Shurouq stands up and smiles, thinking to herself "what a perfect belated birthday gift" She walks up to the podium and thanks everyone for their nominations.
"Congratulations Shurouq and don't ever leave the Blogosphere. You are truly loved!" says MissCosmo.
"With that, Ladies and Gentlemen, we have come to the end of our night. We hope you enjoyed sharing these moments with us and congratulations to all the winners. Thank you for keeping us entertained through your blogs and we look forward to reading more! You have been a wonderful audience and good luck to next year's Executive Committee. We hope we've been able to start something that would continue on for years to come. For now, enjoy the after night party with drinks and food for everyone!"
MissCosmo exits stage and rushes to the backdoor. NuNu and Purg are still arguing. Stallion has run off to see his friends and the audience is making its way to the buffet.
"I'm sorry you didn't win!" says one blogger to another.
"Are you kidding? I never took it seriously. I was just kidding." replies another blogger.
"But you know that you're the best, sweetie"
"Oh, thanks, you're so sweet. I love you."
"I love you too"
In the distance the same blogger is overlistening, rolls his eyes again and thinks to himself....BLOGGERS!
The night is warm as she stands outside on the sidewalk behind the hotel, frantically looking for a lighter.
She hears the sound of an engine roar. What a powerful sound she thinks to herself as she notices him.
"You missed the party" she says.
"Did I win?" he asks.
"Wouldn't you like to know!" she teases.
"Would you like a ride MissCosmo?"
"Thought you'd never ask!" she replies.
She hops on his bike and hangs on tight as she rides away in the distance with the Academy Award Winner of the Sexiest Male Blogger...naturally!
